The Kharlovka and Eastern Litza are two of the most prolific salmon rivers on the Kola Peninsula.
In the middle of the Tundra a lodge is built with every comfort you would expect. Guests sleep in single wooden cabins with en suite baths. They are served great meals and all alcoholic drinks are included. Even free fly tying facilities are to be found in in the lodge. There is also a flyshop if some tackle is needed urgently.
Guests are deployed to their fishing beat by helicopter. Every 2 anglers share a guide. Guests are rotating throug the water during the week.
The Kharlovka and Litza are famous for their big fish. Depending on the time you go there, there is a high probability you catch fish over 20 pounds, if you are lucky even 30 or 40 pounds. Usually double handed rods are fished, as well as single handers for dry fly fishing.
The season is from June-September, with big and fresh fish coming first, then smaller summer fish and grilse in July and August, and September is autumn fishing where the big ones become aggressive again.
