All Beats can be booked for you - all rates per rod & day
River AVON - Avon Springs
There is an abundance of insect life providing a varied food source with fly hatches that include mayfly, damselfly, sedge and many others. The ‘dry fly only’ rule is in force until June 1st after which traditional nymphs may be used.
The beat is shared by up to four rods. There is the option of the sporting ticket that allows you to swap between the lakes and river at will.
River AVON - Upavon Farm
This all wading beat is the perfect place to follow in his footsteps where sight fishing, with both dry and nymph, is the only way to go. Never stocked, this is an all wild trout fishery that holds a good head of grayling as well.
Upavon is ideal for one person or two friends sharing
River NADDER - Compton Chamberlayne
Each beat is for one or two rods, and is well stocked with brown trout reared on the Estate and rotating daily to offer plenty of variety.
River WYLYE - Fisherton de la Mere
Fisherton has plenty of variety, which starts with the fast, shallow gravelly section that leads to the big Hatch Pool; you’d be advised to take your waders. Above the hatches the river is slower and deeper as you might expect, mostly fished from the bank.
This beat is ideal for one rod or two friends together. There is a comfortable rod room and car parking adjacent to the river.
